Soccer’s international break might feel like agony for fans of the English Premier League, South Africa’s PSL Premiership, Spain’s La Liga and pretty much every other top division around the world. But the international break comes with a host of interesting match ups between international teams.
Whether these fixtures are friendlies or qualification for continental or global competitions, they’re always entertaining – and seemingly nonstop.
The most intriguing of all, perhaps, lies ahead on the weekend when Nigeria square off against Brazil. But Brazil are keeping busy during the break. On Thursday, they face Senegal at the Singapore National Stadium.
Liverpool aces Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane will be on opposite sides when the two teams meet on Thursday. And that match is just one of a whole host of fixtures scheduled for the day.
While the slew of friendlies are scheduled all around the world and the time zone differences might make it feel like the international soccer action is non-stop – it’s not ideal for those stuck in an office.
But, fret not – if you need to keep up with live scores, team line ups and everything else that goes with international soccer fixtures – we’ve got all those details for you on our live soccer scores page. Or you can catch all the action right here.
