Live scores and team line ups: International break fixtures on 12 October

The international break continues around the soccer world on Saturday, with three friendly football fixtures around the world.

In South America there is a rematch of the Copa America quarter-final between Colombia and Chile.

A penalty shootout victory was the result for the Chileans in Sao Paulo back in June, as they went on to finish the tournament in fourth place.

It was disappointing for the Colombians, who also suffered a spot-kick knockout at the hands of England in the last 16 of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The pair now meet in Alicante in the absence of any competitive soccer fixtures for either nation until the end of the year.

And they will meet without James Rodriguez in the Colombian ranks, as he stays with club side Real Madrid to recover from a minor injury.

Another side dumped out of the Copa America on penalties, Uruguay, are also in international friendly action when they renew hostilities with Peru in Montevideo.

It’s a chance for Oscar Tabarez and his men to strike back against the Peruvians, who went all the way to the final only to be knocked out by hosts Brazil.

But they will do so without star striker Luis Suarez, who will miss the friendly and instead remain with club side Barcelona in Spain.

Brazil are in friendly action themselves on Sunday when they play Nigeria, with the match against the Super Eagles taking place at the National Stadium in Singapore.

There is also international friendly action in Africa this Saturday, as Tunisia host Cameroon.

The Carthage Eagles play the West African nation at the Stade Olympique de Rades.

Tunisia finished fourth at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, losing to Nigeria in the third-place play-off match in Cairo.

Cameroon were dumped out of Afcon by the same opposition at the first knockout stage.

The Indomitable Lions and the Tunisians return to Africa Cup of Nations qualifying action in the November international football break.
