South Africa have been drawn in Pool A alongside England, Argentina and Japan at the upcoming Vancouver Sevens. The Blitzboks won the title at the LA Sevens this past weekend, pulling off a vintage comeback to stun Fiji in the final winning 29-24 in extra time.
The Blitzboks remain second on the overall World Series standings, four points behind leaders New Zealand.
South Africa’s first match will be against Japan at 20:06 SAST on 7 March. They’ll play Argentina at 23:18 and England at 2:30 on Sunday morning.
Fiji are in Pool B with France, Canada and Wales. Pool C features New Zealand, Ireland Spain and Kenya while Pool D consists of Australia, USA, Samoa and Scotland.
