Ghana captain Andre Dede Ayew has released a long message as the world continues its fight against the coronavirus.
Covid-19 has reportedly infected more than 244,500 people and killed over 10,000 worldwide.
The disease has also led to the suspension of football leagues including the English Championship where Ayew is plying his trade.
Ayew was in good form having netted 12 goals in 35 league matches, before the competition was suspended earlier this month.
The attacking midfielder has now urged everyone to adhere to the preventive guidelines as the battle against the deadly virus continues.
“As the world takes the decisive steps to combat the spread of the deadly coronavirus which is wreaking havoc too families, communities and nations,’ Ayew wrote.
“I want to urge you all to continue to adhere strictly to all preventive advice to help stay healthy and also help curb the spread of the pandemic.”
