The Sims 4 team took a deep dive into the new Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle expansion pack, set to be released on 5 June 2020. The team showed off the neighbourhood in a pre-release live stream on Thursday.
The new Sims 4 expansion pack includes the world called Evergreen Harbor. The world includes 15 lots in total, including two apartment lots. Each neighbourhood has been given an overlay for its Eco Footprint in The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle expansion. Dirty neighbourhoods appear dirty on the map. Clean ones have sunbeams.
The apartments are only a few levels tall – one of the apartments doesn’t even require an elevator. The apartments are stand-alone with the Eco Lifestyle expansion pack and the exterior can change based on the neighbourhood action plans chosen by the Sims. These apartments also do not have landlords or the “noisy neighbours” that came with City Living. Sims will, however, still pay rent on these apartments.
The team also showed the new Eco Footprint that will form part of the UI in The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle.
It was also confirmed that the expansion pack will have acid rain in polluted neighbourhoods. This will make your Sims ill.
