The South African Premiership continues to play catch up following its restart from the pandemic-enforced recess.
There are four fixtures spread across Saturday and Sunday, including the PSL log leaders Kaizer Chiefs.
Saturday’s action kicks off at 15:30 South African time with relegation-threatened Polokwane City taking on Highlands Park at Loftus Versveld. City have lost both their fixtures since the league restarted.
Highlands Park have drawn both their matches and Rise and Shine might fancy themselves in with a chance to spring a surprise.
Baroka FC and Chippa United also play on Saturday, their match kicks off at 18:00 South African time at the BidVest Stadium. There have been fewer than three goals scored in total in each of Chippa United’s last five games, so it could be a sluggish evening clash.
Moving on two Sunday, there two north-south derbies to look forward to with Cape Town City and Orlando Pirates in action first up. That match kicks off at 15:30 South African time and the Citizens will be feeling confident after their recent victory over Mamelodi Sundowns.
Wrapping up the weekend’s PSL fixtures is Kaizer Chiefs and Stellenbosch. The match kicks off at 18:00 South African time on Sunday and Chiefs are firm favourites, despite their slip against Bloemfontein Celtic.
