Bloemfontein Celtic take on AmaZulu in the PSL on Monday at the Lucas Moripe Stadium. Kick off is at 15:30 South African time.
Usuthu head into the fixture on the back of a 2-1 loss against Wits on Friday. They have not won in two PSL league games and sit in 16th position on the PSL log.
Ayanda Dlamini, AmaZulu’s coach, urged the team to find some form.
“Our second-half was not a good as the first [against Wits]. They are a tough opponent and we did not take our chances,” Dlamini said.
“Our next game is on Monday, so we cannot spend time dwelling on the lose. We go straight back into training and try for a result against Bloemfontein Celtic.”
Bloemfontein Celtic will be cockahoop after beating title-favourites Kaizer Chiefs 3-1. They are unbeaten in their last two league fixtures.
Phunya Sele Sele are sitting 11th on the PSL log and coach John Maduka is understandably impressed.
“The plan was to we defend well [against Chiefs] because we know offensively, we are very good, we are very sharp,” Maduka said.
“That’s why you see we have won the game. We are very happy. We are taking it one game at a time. We will be happy to finish in the top eight.”
