Mamelodi Sundowns take on Golden Arrows at the Dobsonville Stadium in the PSL on Monday. Kick off is at 18:00 SAST.
Masandawana desperately need to get their title defence back on track. They remain winless in four league games following a 2-2 draw against Maritzburg United on Friday.
The Brazilians remain second on the PSL log, five points behind leaders Kaizer Chiefs, who also slipped up over the weekend and drew against Stellenbosch. Five PSL fixures remain to decide the title.
Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane said after his team drew on Friday that there have been signs of improvement.
“It’s the first time I see them play much better [since the restart], we really played much better than all the games,” Mosimane said.
“Okay, against Wits we played a little bit better, to be honest, but tonight out of the last three games at least we stressed that we need to play.”
Golden Arrows have also been sluggish. Their winless streak has extended to five matches after they were beaten 2-1 by Black Leopards, also on Friday. They sit tenth on the PSL log.
