Leaked Sims 4 stuff pack confirmed, but no release date yet

There will be an 18th Sims 4 stuff pack, but what exactly it is has not yet been confirmed. Players have some ideas about possible clues, though.

Electronic Arts and The Sims have acknowledged that the unnamed stuff pack recently leaked on Origin is a thing, but did not confirm what exactly that thing is. But, of course, Simmers themselves are already speculating what the responses might indicate.

Sims 4 Leaked Sutff Pack 18 Possibly Romance

Earlier in the week, a new Sims 4 stuff pack with a placeholder name appeared on Origin. Some players managed to purchase the pack (to see what would happen), but because the pack has not been released yet, they were unable to download it.

The pack would be the 18th stuff pack for The Sims 4. EA said on Twitter that players who purchased the pack would be refunded.

"Electronic Arts and The Sims have acknowledged that the unnamed stuff pack recently leaked on Origin is a thing, but did not confirm what exactly that thing is," the message read.

Sims 4 Stuff Pack 18: Romance a possible theme

The Sims’ official Twitter account also responded with the following message.

Dave Miotke, a senior producer at Maxis, also responded with a Tweet which he later pinned to his profile. It is an image of a Sims plumbob set to "flirty".

The heart and flirty references in the responses has many Simmers believe the next stuff pack could be something related to romance interactions.

In the most recent Sims 4 update, the patch added the ability for Sims to elope to vacation worlds. Previously, the Future Cube object in the game also hinted at popular destinations to elope to.

All these references has made many Simmers thinking the franchise’s next stuff pack could fit a romantic or wedding-type narrative.

No release date or further details about the next Sims 4 stuff pack has been revealed or confirmed yet, though, so players will have to sit tight a while longer.

However, the Sims team has promised to communicate more effectively and regularly with the game’s players after backlash over their silence on several issues with the game.
