How to cheat in The Sims 4: testingcheats on

To get started with Sims 4 cheats, you first have to turn them on.

Of all the cheats in The Sims 4, there is one that is more important all of them. Technically, it is not even really a cheat.

But it is the key to unlocking all the Sims 4 skills cheats, all the cheats for quickly promoting your Sim and the first step in cheating your way to unlimited money in The Sims 4.

In The Sims 4, before you enter your cheat codes, you first have to turn cheats on. To do that, you will need to enter testingcheats on, testingcheatsenabled true or testingcheats true. This is very simple to do on PC or Mac.

How to turn Sims 4 cheats on

Before you enter your cheat codes, you need to open what is known as the “cheats dialogue box” or the “cheats console”.

To get started with Sims 4 cheats, press CTRL+SHIFT+C on your keyboard if you’re using a PC. To open The Sims 4 cheats console on a Mac, press CMD+SHIFT+C.

Now you need to actually turn the cheats on. That’s the easy part. In the cheats box, simply type testingcheats on. Sometimes this doesn’t work and you have to type testingcheats true instead. You’ll know you’ve done it correctly when the dialogue box tells you “Cheats are enabled” like this.

Once that is done, you can cheat all you like. The Sims 4 cheats dialogue box will stay open unless you close it. To close the dialogue box, click out of it and hit ESC on your keyboard.
