The new Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle expansion pack has breathed new life into the game. The options for storytelling have been expanded dramatically – and the build-buy catalogue is exquisite.
The expansion pack’s best objects aren’t in plain sight. We’re not even talking about the clutter and the world objects – those deserve a whole article of praise on their own. Seriously, check some of these out.
Oh and there are containers. So. Many. CONTAINERS. It is clutter bug and steampunk build style heaven.
But back to the point. The best objects in the Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle expansion are the ones you can get by having your Sims fabricate them. Now, many Simmers who play the game largely for the build aspect, can’t be bothered with the whole process of having to make this stuff.
Luckily, there is a Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle cheat to help you get them without all that rigmarole.
The fabricated items range widely from some couches to chairs, desks, lamps and bookshelves. They are seriously awesome. Check them out below. There’s more, by the way. This is but a mere morsel of the amazing fabricated furniture you can get through two simple cheats.
Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle: How to get fabricated furniture
If you don’t have time or any interest in going through the process of making these yourself, you can cheat to get it. No judgement.
To do this, you’ll have to use two cheats. First, turn on the cheats through the testingcheats true option. Then use the bb.showhiddenobjects and bb.showliveeditobjects cheats to get the Eco Lifestyle fabricated furniture items to show up.
They are searchable through text by using the word “fabricated” – so you don’t have to go down the **DEBUG** rabbit hole to try and find them.
The fabricated furniture items in The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle don’t have individual swatches. Each swatch is loaded individually so you won’t be able to cycle through them by the plus keyboard shortcut. Speaking of cheats, if you want to cheat the Eco Footprint UI in the Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle, you can learn how to do that in our article here.
