Sims 4: Another Star Wars new game pack theory

Are these the droids you’re looking for? Another theory on why a Star Wars Sims 4 game pack fits the speculation.

Note: This article previously R2-D2 referred to as RD-D2 and C-3PO as E-3PO. This has been corrected.

Imaginations and speculations are running wild since the icon for the new Sims 4 Game Pack leaked on the official website on Sunday.

While a few theories were initially thrown out, two of these have edged ahead. We presented a case for the new game pack being either Atlantis or Star Wars in an earlier article, but having prodded around a bit more, more signs are pointing towards a Star Wars (or space type) game pack being the most likely.

The most obvious thing pointing towards why Star Wars would be an “easy” game pack for The Sims 4? Well, aside from the whole EA owns the rights to the video games thing…. All the robots that came with The Sims 4 Discover University.

Before we go any further, remember this is just speculation at this point. We should keep our expectations (and any disappointments) in check until we know for sure. We do know that the new pack will be a “major first”. For some people, that rules out Star Wars since there are costumes already. But that’s not quite the same as a full on pack, is it?

With that out of the way, let’s dive right into another theory about why the new Sims 4 Game Pack could be a Star Wars colab.

The Sims 4 Star Wars game pack: Latest theory

The Sims 4 Discover University brought the robotics skills to the game. With that came…err.. robots, obviously. Star Wars costumes already exist for Sims, of course, but the addition of robots would make it a bit easier to implement the Star Wars droids.

Take a look if you can see some similarities (or if we’re totally reaching).

It seems as if the world will be based on the Galaxy’s Edge, which led some people to theorize that it could be a Star Wars theme park Game Pack. However, the Sim Gurus previously said that is not something they were thinking about.

That doesn’t rule out a resort pack, though, right?

We’ll keep you in the loop!
