The new Sims 4 expansion pack is called Snowy Escape and it looks like it is going to be one of the fan-favourites. Set in the beautiful, snowy world of Mt. Komorebi, the pack draws inspiration from Japanese landscapes, architecture and culture.
Sims can live or vacation in the new world (rental lots in all worlds will actually be added to the base game update ahead of the pack’s release) and discover a whole range of extreme activities ranging from snow sports to hiking and much more.
EA also partnered with YouTubers to help build the lots in the new world, meaning none of those awful basic builds that usually ship with a new pack.
Sentiments and Lifestyles will also expand on the personalities of Sims, with Sentiments also forming part of the base game update. Lifestyles, however, will be exclusive to the Snowy Escape expansion pack.
For the builders, there is good news, too. A Japanese-inspired pack would not be complete without the ability to properly build across platforms and the base game update ahead of the pack will add that, too.
There is much more to this pack, too, of course. If you missed it, you can catch up with the Sims 4 Snowy Escape deep dive live stream video over here or have a look at the map of the new world and learn more about the neighbourhoods.
Sims 4 Snowy Escape expansion: Countdown clock
The new Sims expansion will follow the staggered release approach, as previous expansions have. Sims 4 Snowy Escape will be released on 13 November 2020 at midnight across various regions.
