The Snowy Escape update, released for The Sims 4 base game in November, caused many issues – even for players who do not use any mods.
For Sims 4 modders, updates are always challenging. In October, Arnie Sims from The Sims Plus, released an amazing mod that added an open world to the game – a feature many players have been desperate for ever since The Sims 4 released six years ago.
The mod has been in its Beta phase for the last few months, but the November Snowy Escape update threw a few extra spanners in the works.
But there is good news. A brand new version of The Sims 4 Brookheights Open World mod is set to be released on 30 November 2020.
Brookheights 1.0 will include an auto-installer, making it much easier to use the mod. Up until now, players who downloaded the mod had to go through a manual installation process every time they wanted to add or remove the mod.
Arnie Sims shared some details with Patreon supporters on Sunday saying:
Tomorrow, I will publish (finally) the final edit of Brookheights : Version 1.0. This version fixes all the new (and former) glitches that came with the challenging patches, it includes the Import Brookheights feature, an Auto-Installer (that allows you to easily repair, update or uninstall the Mod Pack) a Christmas Themed Center Lot, and other features. More about all this tomorrow!
And I also have a surprise for the holidays, I can’t wait to share this with you, see you tomorrow.
