MC Command Center, UI Cheats Extension, More Columns in CAS, Minimalist CC Icon, Color Sliders for Hair and Clothes and several mods by Little Ms Sam – including Pregnancy Overhaul – have all been updated for the most recent Sims 4 patch.
Some other popular mods, including TwistedMexi’s Better BuildBuy and Buildcam, still need to be updated – although the reported issues are largely related to UI aesthetics and should still be usable without causing any disasters.
Basemental has given also given an all-clear to his mods while TURBODRIVER also reported no issues with Wonderful or Wicked Whims after the April update.
The latest update seemed relatively small, adding only two new hairstyles and mostly focussing on bug fixes with the majority of issues affecting UI-based mods.
The Sims 4 called it “The Casual Update” in their official patch notes and despite many hoping that it would include body hair, that was not to be.
However, the May 2021 update for The Sims 4 could be far more substantial. Six new hair colour swatches and new eye pre-sets were announced for the next update.
A new Game Pack and a new Kit for The Sims 4 is also set to be announced ‘in the next couple of weeks’, however, an exact date for these announcements was not confirmed. There is some speculation that some of the new DLC coming to the game could implement werewolves somehow, but nothing has been confirmed (or denied) by The Sims 4.
