The Africa Cup of Nations fixtures come thick and fast on Tuesday, as Group B and Group C are wrapped up in Cameroon.
It’s all to play for in Group B as Senegal tackle Malawi and Zimbabwe meet Guinea.
Group C, meanwhile, sees heavyweights Ghana firmly on the back foot as they play the Comoros Islands, with Morocco safely through ahead of their intriguing clash with Gabon.
All fixtures in the final group stage matches kick off at 18:00 and 21:00 Central African Time.
Group B: Malawi vs Senegal
Knockout qualification remains up in their air as pre-tournament favourites Senegal go up against Malawi in Cameroon on Tuesday.
Sadio Mane and Co have underwhelmed at the Africa Cup of Nations so far, edging past Zimbabwe thanks to an injury time penalty before being held to a goalless draw by Guinea.
But the Lions of Teranga are still in good shape to progress to the Round of 16, where they good still be joined by their underdog opponents.
Gabadinho Mhango scored twice as the Flames came from behind to stun the Zimbabweans on Friday, giving them genuine hope of reaching the Afcon knockouts for the first time.
Kick off at 18:00.
Group B: Zimbabwe vs Guinea
Guinea are on a mission to top Group B at the Africa Cup of Nations as they finish their pool stage efforts against pointless Zimbabwe on Tuesday.
The Guineans could pip much-fancied Senegal at the summit, having held the favourites to a stalemate after edging out Malawi by the only goal in Cameroon.
For the Zimbabweans it’s been a painful Afcon experience, conceding an injury time penalty to lose to Sadio Mane et al, before giving up a one-goal lead in defeat to Malawi.
Kick off at 18:00.
Group C: Gabon vs Morocco
Morocco go into their final Group C fixture at the Africa Cup of Nations against Gabon with a place in the last 16 already secured.
The Atlas Lions have seen off both Ghana and the Comoros Islands to seal safe passage to the knockouts, keeping hopes alive of a rare North African success south of the Sahara Desert.
Their opponents have been the centre of Afcon attention, thanks to a combustible climax to their match with the Black Stars in the absence of stars Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Mario Lemina due to the after-effects of Covid-19.
Four points should be enough for the Gabonese to make it through, with Jim Allevinah’s controversial late goal potentially proving the difference.
Kick off at 21:00.
Group C: Ghana vs Comoros
Brace yourself for more Africa Cup of Nations fireworks on Tuesday night, with Ghana’s campaign hanging by a thread ahead of their fixture with the Comoros Islands.
The Black Stars had already lost to Group C leaders Morocco before being pegged back at the death by Gabon on Friday, leaving them sat on a single point.
It didn’t go down well, with furious goalscorer Andre Ayew and the red-carded Benjamin Tetteh chief instigators of a fracas after the final whistle.
Cool heads are the order of the day against the Islanders, if the West Africans can manage it, before the door slams shut on a place in the Round of 16.
Kick off at 21:00.
