There’s something for everyone in the FA Cup semi-finals at Wembley Stadium this weekend, as the final four teams battle it out for a place in the final.
Sunday is all about the romance, as 1987 champions Coventry set out to pull off a giant killing when they go up against Manchester United.
And that follows a heavy-duty Saturday that pits big spending Manchester City and Chelsea against each other under the famous arch.
Whatever the outcome of the last four ties, we know the two victors will then have a final date back in the capital on Saturday 25 May, with that famous old trophy at stake.

Coventry vs Manchester United – Sunday 21 April, kick off 15.30
Manchester United face up to an FA Cup banana skin at the semi-final stage on Sunday, with second tier Coventry standing between them and a place in the final for the second year running.
It was heartbreak for the Red Devils a year ago as they were edged out by rivals Manchester City in the domestic season finale.
And with Pep Guardiola’s reigning champions contesting the other last four clash with Chelsea, it means a potential rematch is very much on the cards for Erik ten Hag’s men.
Despite a dodgy Premier League season, they really came up with the goods at the quarter-final stage.
A 4-3 extra time success over familiar foes Liverpool was a huge boost to Ten Hag in his bid to hold on to his grasp of the Old Trafford hotseat.
They had earlier won on the road at Nottingham Forest as well as League Two Newport, having seen off third tier neighbours Wigan in the Third Round.
Coventry have gone from hunted to hunters in this season’s competition.
A staggering quarter-final effort saw them stun Midlands rivals Wolves in their own backyard, sparking incredible scenes on and off the Molineux pitch a month ago.
It was a very different scenario to their Round Five tie with Maidstone, as they played villain to end the National League South club’s fairytale run with a 5-0 thumping.
They had earlier needed a replay to see off fellow Championship side Sheffield Wednesday, having thrashed Oxford in the third round.
All of which means the dream remains alive to emulate their 1987 heroes that claimed the Cup for the only time in the club’s history.
And, with their play-off push faltering in recent weeks, it’s a huge opportunity for Sky Blues boss Mark Robins to get one over on the team where he made his name as a player 35 years ago.
Manchester City vs Chelsea – Saturday 20 April, kick off 17.15
Manchester City know they can take a giant step towards sealing back-to-back trebles when they face Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-finals on Saturday.
Pep Guardiola’s men lifted the famous trophy for the seventh time a year ago, seeing off arch-rivals Manchester United in the Wembley final to do so.
And they return to the iconic London venue for this last four clash knowing it’ll be the Red Devils or second tier Coventry who lie in wait if they can find a way past the Blues.
It’s a funny time for City to be taking a break from Premier League duties, too, having sneaked ahead of Liverpool and Arsenal in the title race – both of whom will play twice in the meantime.
The FA Cup draw produced three EPL opponents in the last three rounds.
But Newcastle, Luton and Tottenham proved no match for the City slickers, who have progressed serenely to the latter stages of yet another competition.
They had earlier set the tone by demolishing Championship strugglers Huddersfield 5-0 at the Etihad Stadium.
For Chelsea the Cup has been a blessed relief from a league campaign dogged by inconsistency.
It’s an opportunity to right some wrongs, too, with the Blues losing three Wembley finals on the spin between 2020 and 2022, having last walked up the steps as champions in 2018.
Leicester vanquished them in the middle of that trio, but the promotion-hunting Foxes were seen off 4-2 at Stamford Bridge in this season’s quarter-final between the pair.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men had to come from behind to defeat the challenge of similarly-placed Leeds in Round Five, having already done well to win a fourth round replay at Aston Villa.
Their entry to this season’s competition was a more straightforward affair, thumping Preston 4-0 at home.
