English Premier League predictions, fixtures and results: 10 – 12 February 2024

Fans of the English Premier League have eye catching fixtures to look out for all over the place, as the top flight gears up for a bumper weekend.

There are a whopping seven Saturday matches to look forward to, ahead of a tasty trio to top off the weekend.

Arsenal are on the march once again under Mikel Arteta and now face a London derby away to West Ham.

The Gunners have won their last three and come into the EPL weekend two points off the top of the table, while the Hammers have gone off the boil in recent weeks thanks to a run of four without a win.

A battle for European qualification also lights up Sunday when Manchester United go to Aston Villa.

Erik ten Hag’s men can’t afford to lose many more if they’re to keep their slim top four hopes alive, while the Villans are in good shape despite tasting victory just twice in their last five league attempts.

Monday night’s football could pave the way for a changing of the guard, meanwhile, as Crystal Palace welcome fellow London club Chelsea with both coaches under the cosh as the season heads towards the sharp end.

Mauricio Pochettino’s Blues have lost their last two to slip back into the bottom half, while veteran Roy Hodgson is on the brink with his Eagles by no means safe from relegation.

Reigning champions Manchester City kick off the EPL weekend with the Saturday lunchtime match at the Etihad Stadium against Everton.

Pap Guardiola’s side are in frightening form as far as their title rivals are concerned and know they will go at least temporarily top with victory, while the Toffees have tumbled right back into relegation contention ahead of their daunting trip along the M62.

It’s Liverpool who start the day at the Premier League summit, albeit after losing for just the second time this season at Arsenal last time out.

Jurgen Klopp’s long goodbye continues at Anfield as Burnley visit, with coach Vincent Kompany and his Clarets in serious danger of being cut adrift at the wrong end of the table.

Tottenham are four unbeaten as their regroup for a tilt at Uefa Champions League qualification.

Tricky Brighton are the visitors to north London fresh from picking up their first three-point haul in four matches, while Spurs will end the day no worse than fifth in the table no matter the result.

Newcastle have gone goal crazy – at both ends – in recent weeks and take that sequence to equally leaky Nottingham Forest in Saturday’s late kick off.

The home side are loitering above the drop zone despite hiring coach Nuno Espirito Santo, while the Magpies still have time for a run at the European places if they can shore things up at the back.

Sheffield United fans could be forgiven for thinking an immediate return to the Championship is a done deal, with the return of local hero Chris Wilder to the Bramall Lane dugout failing to fire a survival push so far.

They face a do-or-die trip to the Kenilworth Road bear pit to face scrapping Luton, who have really hit their stride against the odds in the last few weeks.

Wolves host Brentford and can continue to make strides under the increasingly impressive charge of coach Gary O’Neill.

It just hasn’t come together for the Bees this campaign despite the return from a gambling ban of hotshot striker Ivan Toney, while the home side thrashed Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last Sunday.

Both Fulham and Bournemouth have drawn back-to-back Premier League fixtures ahead of their Craven Cottage meeting.

And few would bet against that sequence continuing, with the pair pottering around in the bottom half, relatively free of relegation drama but with diminishing hope for a top half push.
