Sylvan Glade is one of the most beautiful hidden worlds in The Sims 4. There is not that much for your Sims to do ? well other than collect ALL OF THE THINGS ? but its landscape is absolutely magical.
If you wanted to spice things up a little bit and give your Sims a few more things to do in Sylvan Glade, you can build in this hidden world without using mods. You just need to use a few basic Sims 4 cheats.
As with all hidden worlds in The Sims 4, Sylvan Glade has its own lot. The world that surrounds the lot cannot be built or changed without using mods, though.
The Sylvan Glade lot is quite small, so you won?t be able to change too much, but it is a nice way to add your own stamp on the hidden worlds.
How to build in Sylvan Glade in The Sims 4
To edit the Sylvan Glade lot you have to get there first, obviously. If you have not travelled to Sylvan Glade before, you can read our guide to it here.
In case you are wondering, this will work on all of the hidden worlds in The Sims 4 which can be built on.
Turning on freebuild to edit hidden worlds in The Sims 4
You will have to turn on cheats to get this to work. Open the cheats console. To do this, press Control + Shift + C to toggle the console on and off and type testingcheats on into the dialogue box then hit enter. testingcheats true also works in some cases.
Then type in bb.enablefreebuild?and hit enter. Lots that were previously locked will now be editable. You should be able to enter build mode as usual and edit the Sylvan Glade lot from there.
Alternatively, you can use the Travel To Venue created by TwelfthDoctor1 which allows Sims to travel to any of The Sims 4 hidden lots by simply using their phone.
