In pictures and numbers: How Kaizer Chiefs poached a win vs Arrows

Lebo Manyama scored deep into injury time to help Kaizer Chiefs poach a 0-1 win against Golden Arrows at the Moses Mabhida on Saturday. It was Manyama’s fifth goal of the season and the fourth away from home.

The win puts Amakhosi ten points clear at the top of the PSL log with 45 points. Mamelodi Sundowns remain in second on 35, but have a game in hand.

Despite looking the more lively side in the early stages of the game, Chiefs couldn’t quite break through the Golden Arrows defence.

But Abafana Bes?thende didn’t have any answers on attack either. The fixture looked destined for a goalless stalemate, until the final frantic minutes in Durban.

Sifiso Mlungwana made a good save to stop Samir Nurkovic from being the heartbreaker, but the Manyama pounced on the rebound volley and slotted home to help edge Chiefs ever closer to the title.

Far from the classiest win of their season, it hardly matters in the greater scheme of things. Below are some key stats from the fixture.
