Ever wondered if Sims 4 worlds are round? Wonder no more

Life has many burning questions. Like whether a duck’s quack echo, why we sleep, who built Stonehenge and, of course, the pressing question of whether worlds in The Sims 4 are round.

What, you have never wondered whether the computer-generated simulation that brings us so much joy and pain actually, err, simulates our own world?

Well, lucky you. This is the stuff that keeps us awake at night. Fortunately, we take the task of answering these burning secrets so seriously, that we risk a stress fracture in our scrolling finger to answer them.

If you haven?t heard about the new mod called Brookheights, you can skip over this section (or go check it out for yourself). While playing around in the new world, we noticed that the adjusted camera for this mod allowed zooming out a bit further than the standard cameras in the game.

While that specific mod is not required to zoom out as far as possible in The Sims 4. For the purposes of this investigation, though, we did have Twisted Mexi’s Better Build Buy mod enabled ? which includes the ability to go to tab view in any mode.

The answer to the burning question about whether Sims 4 worlds are round is? drum roll please? yes, they are indeed round.

There is one slight exception. Sort of. Technically still rounded by the forest that hugs it, Granite Falls is a bit oddly shaped … but only through its terrain.
