CC doors and windows are technically still usable, but the update means that none of these are rendering properly when placed on walls.
While custom content and mods often glitch or break during a Sims update, these can usually be fixed quite easily.
Out of date or just bad Sims 4 CC can easily be found and deleted with The Sims 4 Tray Importer.
But this update did not just impact bad CC. It impacted every single window, door and arch from custom content creators ? even the ones recently released.
Fortunately, there might be a fix soon, thanks to the very kind and generous folks who run The Sims 4 Studio.
This independent application has saved players a lot of frustration in the past with its batch fixes for other fundamental updates and they hope to find a solution for this, too.
The folks who work on The Sims 4 Studio application all work full-time jobs, though, so you will have to sit tight a little while longer.
Releasing a batch fix for this patch is a bit of a complicated task too. Because there are so many varied shapes and sizes of doors, windows and arches, all the variables need to be assessed so that the fix can be as comprehensive as possible.
