The Sims 4 Farming is coming – thanks to a modder
One of the most requested expansion packs for The Sims 4 is farming. There have been a few false dawns of such an expansion pack being released, but they have all led to nothing? until now.
The Sims 4 will finally be getting a farming expansion, but it won’t be coming from the folks at EA. The mod creator behind the Brookheights Open World mod, Arnie Sims aka The Sims Plus, has announced they are working on a new mod called: The Sims 4: FARMLAND.

Arnie recently released the final version of the Sims 4 Brookheights Open World mod and now there is something else in the works.
The announcement was made on Arnie’s Patreon page on Tuesday. Some of the features will include the ability to harvest vegetables or cereals, own farm animals, and sell even sell the fresh produce at a farmer’s market or directly to a grocery store.
“Grow some love for your animals and work, to provide the best products and make a living out of it. You can even own a vineyard and make the best wine in the entire World,” the announcement added.
The Sims 4 Farmland mod: Some more details
The new mod will be a semi-open world, according to Arnie Sims, as explained on Patreon:
“You have 5 Lots in the middle of the world (visible from the 2D Map View), where your sims can live! But all around them is a giant interactive open area with a farm where you can harvest vegetables and cereals, go to school, work, marry your sims in the Love Temple, go to shops, restaurants and much more without a loading screen.”
