Sims 4 custom content: Learn how to do it on a live stream

Sims 4 Learn How To Make Custom Content Livestream

If you have ever wanted to learn a bit more than the basics of how to make custom content in The Sims 4, Streams Come True. We can?t take credit for that pun, unfortunately. But that’s the kind of cutting wit you might find if you join modder and CC creator Ravasheen’s live stream tutorial for all things Sims 4 CC.

We don’t mean just learning something like our incredibly basic tutorial on how to make your own Sims 4 custom-content floors. Although, if you need a hand with that, this live stream class will certainly help with that too. However, there will be much more to learn than just that.

Ravasheen, or RVSN, amongst many monikers, is a featured artist on The Sims Resource and has created items like functional bunk beds and the recently-released planters that make gardening in The Sims 4 a whole lot faster.

The live CC lesson will deal with include live demos for CC how-to, tips and tricks, answering of submitted questions and a live Q&A, amongst other things. The live stream is only accessible for Patreon subscribers, but will be accessible to the public afterwards. It is set for 11 February at 20:00 CST (4:00 if you’re in South Africa).

We’ll have an extended interview with Ravasheen coming up this week, but as a primer – both to the upcoming interview and for the stream – for RVSN, this is one way to innovate her offering after what has been a brutally tough year.

Like many people all around the world over the last 12 months, the global pandemic hit her hard. With a masters in electrical engineering, RVSN spent the last six years working in that field, but was laid off at the end of 2020 and with the support of her family, she is attempting to live the dream and make a career out the world of video gaming.

“My family really pushed me to follow my dreams and see if I could make a living making CC/mods [after being laid off]. I looked at my savings and decided I would give myself six (now four) months to see if I could realistically do this,” she explained to us in our interview.

“I am so lucky, humbled, and blown away by the support of my Patrons and The Sims Resource because they are very literally putting a roof over my head and food on my table. I have taken a massive, massive pay cut but I am so much happier,” she added.
