It was a case of disappointment for the hosts ahead of their return to Brisbane, capitulating 45-12 against the Waratahs last Saturday.
The New South Wales franchise can strengthen their title credentials on Friday when they tackle the ailing Western Force (kick off 11.05 SAST).
Cbus Super Stadium is the venue as Super Rugby AU heads to Queensland’s Gold Coast, with the Waratahs in third place, locked on 11 points with the fourth-placed Reds.
And the Force are up against it, having collected just two points from their four winless outings in the competition so far.
