While fans of The Sims 4 eagerly await the release of the new Tiny Living Stuff Pack, they?re also wondering what 2020 holds for the simulation franchise.
The life simulation game will celebrate its 20th anniversary in February and while it is almost certain that The Sims 5 will be released at some point in the future, a recent community survey suggests that there’s some life left in The Sims 4 yet.
The team behind the popular game is known for dropping hints ahead of the release of major packs. They have been coy about what they?re plotting this year, aside from two stuff packs (Tiny Living and the community voted one), but eagle-eyed Simmers have spotted a few Easter Eggs which they believe suggest that there is a winter-related pack in the works.
The survey, many believe, is one of the first major hints. It asked fans to rate their enthusiasm for potential gameplay ideas.
The possibility of both staying at and running a hotel resort are both mentioned. Another section asks about snow activities such as skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, and mountain climbing.
Over on The Sims 4 subreddit, a user posted screengrabs circling what could be hints at the winter wonderland.

The game’s developers have previously used similar hints ahead of the announcement of news packs, most notably calendar hints ahead of the release of the Seasons expansion pack in 2018.
Many Simmers have been asking for the ability to own and run a resort to make its away into the game. Some thought it might arrive with the release of the Island Living expansion pack.
It remains to be seen what exactly these new hints mean, though, and whether or not the world ? if a winter wonderland is indeed part of a new pack ? will be a joint-vacation and residential world.
