Turn Sims 4 Mods Back On After Nov 2020 Update

Whenever there is a new update to The Sims 4 base game, chances are there might be some issues with mods and custom content. This is especially true if the update is a big one that changes some of the game’s core features.

When The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle expansion pack was released, for example, the base game update that made changes to the bills and inventory UI caused a few glitches and some crashes.

It’s a good idea to make a back up of all your Sims 4 save files ahead of an update and to remove mods and custom content until you know they are working or you have updated them.

The November 2020 update for The Sims 4 base game is likely to cause a few glitches, too. The update will add platforms to build mode, add the vacation lot to all worlds and introduce sentiments to the base game ahead of the release of the new Sims 4 Snowy Escape expansion pack.

This is likely to cause some glitches with mods, so it’s best to wait for these to update before adding them back into your game.

If you have not been using Sims 4 mods very often, though, you might not know that you have to turn them all back on after an update.
