While England and New Zealand slogged it out in a tense semi-final at the 2019 Rugby World Cup, we ran the rule on how the two sides have scored and conceded tries at the tournament prior to the encounter.
At the 2019 Rugby World Cup, 32.14% of New Zealand’s tries have come from lineouts, a further 25% from scrums.
This is in contrast to the tries which England have scored. More than half of England’s tries have come from a scrum platform.
Both sides had conceded only three tries before the semi-final with both sides have conceded one try from turnover play.
