Ring the bells, as the English Premier League kicks off 2021 with a full set of fixtures over a long New Year’s weekend.

Manchester United get things underway on New Year’s day, with a game against Aston Villa at Old Trafford that could see the Red Devils join north west rivals Liverpool on 33 points at the top of the EPL table.

Merseyside hosts the first match of 2021 as Everton set out to make it five wins on the spin when they face old boss David Moyes and his West Ham side at Goodison Park.

Arsenal put their tentatively improving form to the test when they travel to West Brom on Saturday.

Chelsea, meanwhile, have a heavy-duty clash with Manchester City on Sunday at Stamford Bridge.

Liverpool have to wait until Monday for their first fixture of the new year, heading down to tackle Southampton.

Tottenham and Leeds kick off Saturday’s action with a lunchtime game at the Tottenham Hostpur Stadium, with attention then turning to south of the river Thames where out-of-form duo Crystal Palace and Sheffield United meet at Selhurst Park.

Brighton then host Wolves at the Amex Stadium in the evening game on the south coast.

Newcastle welcome Leicester to St James? Park on Sunday afternoon, after Burnley have hosted Fulham at Turf Moor.
