The pressure is mounting on Cameroon and Serbia, as the two opening round losers meet in the first Fifa World Cup game of the day in Qatar on Monday.
Brazil clicked through the gears on Thursday night to put the squeeze on the dark horse Serbians, leaving them pointless thanks to a 2-0 defeat.
The dogged Africans, meanwhile, were unfortunate to come away from their tie with Switzerland without something to show for it.
They now meet knowing if either side loses here, it’s almost certainly home time at the first hurdle.

Game two in Group G for Brazil and Switzerland marks a contest between two nations who have the 2022 Fifa World Cup knockout stages in sight.
Richarlison’s double, including a stunning second, saw Neymar and Co safely through to a 2-0 victory over stodgy Serbia in their first match.
It was a second half that served as a warning shot to the five-time champions’ fellow favourites to win the tournament.
Breel Embolo, meanwhile, scored the only goal against his birth nation of Cameroon to put his none-too-shabby Swiss team level on points with the Samba Boys ahead of their showdown.
Group H: South Korea vs Ghana – 15.00
An intriguing Group H contest could put one of South Korea or Ghana into the qualifying picture at the Fifa World Cup on Monday.
The Black Stars became the first African nation to score a goal in Qatar when veteran Andre Ayew netted in the 73rd minute to cancel out a Cristiano Ronaldo penalty,
But a pair of defensive leaks to left them with a 3-2 defeat, even after Osman Bukhari’s late consolation threatened to cause a stir.
The Korean performance couldn’t match the raucous stadium atmosphere, meanwhile, as they were held to a goalless draw by Uruguay despite the best efforts of Son Heung-min.
Group H: Portugal vs Uruguay – 21.00
Portugal go into their second match at the 2022 Fifa World Cup in Qatar knowing a win over Uruguay will see them safely through to the Round of 16 with a game to spare.
A Cristiano Ronaldo penalty and further second half goals from Joao Felix and Rafael Leao were enough to seal a 3-2 victory over a spirited Ghana resistance in their pool opener.
Fans of the South Americans would love a bit of that excitement.
Their side were held to an opening match stalemate by South Korea, ramping up the importance of their game against the European nation.
