Getting it on with Guidry the Ghost: WooGhoouling

That’s nice, but can we Woohoo with them? This Sims proverb is almost as old as the game itself and with three new NPCs added through the new Sims 4 Paranormal Stuff Pack, it is pertinent that we discuss the matter of Guidry the Ghost.

As we have already discovered, you can indeed Woohoo with Bonehilda and you can even add her to your family and have her babies.

Temperance is another new NPC – but she’s a bit moody so we’ll have the discussion about that particular pursuit some other day. For now, let’s discuss Guidry the Ghost, your happy helper at the Haunted House Residential lot (the new Lot Type that comes with the Paranormal Stuff Pack).

Claude Ren? Duplantier, or Guidry the Ghost as he is more commonly known, usually shows up on your second night in a Haunted House and he even comes with his very own interactions menu… but most Simmers are interested in something a bit more traditional: Whoohoo…or as we’ll call it from now on WooGhoooul.

How to add Guidry to your household in The Sims 4

For the purposes of this specific article, we just went straight to the Shift-click cheat to make Guidry a household member. We are not sure if you can ask him to move in in the more traditional way, but we do know that you can flirt to the point where you ask him to be your partner.

Once you’ve added Guidry, you’ll be able to edit him in Create-a-Sim just like you can with all the other household members. Interestingly, unlike when you edit other ghosts through CAS (using cheats, of course), Guidry doesn’t stay ghost shade when changing his outfit.

You will also notice that he does not have a name added and you will have to do so yourself. He will return to his ghostly cloaked shade when you exit CAS, though.

No ghost babies: But you can Woohoo with Guidry

While ghosts are still not available as a life state in The Sims 4 and there are no ghost babies (unlike in The Sims 3), you can still WooGhooul with Guidry. It is also possible to have Guidry be your baby’s daddy, but you will have to use a few cheats to do so.

To WooGhoul is pretty straight forward. Guidry is a friendly fella and loves to flirt, so carry on as you normally would. In fact, Guidry does not even have to be part of your household for some spooky spooning. And your Sims will be STOKED about the “achievement” of WooGhouling.

Woohoo With Guidry

We’re yet to see what happens if Temperance were to catch Guidry in the act – or if Bonehilda can get jealous, but for now, let’s just focus on Guidry’s err…. business.

Having a baby with Guidry the Ghost

As we have already mentioned, ghosts are unable to conceive in The Sims 4, so you won’t see the ‘try for baby’ option appear. But there is a workaround. There is always a workaround (or a mod) in The Sims. There are actually two workarounds to have a baby with Guidry, so we’ll start with the easiest one.

After adding Guidry to your household, head over to Create-a-Sim and use the ‘play with genetics’ option to randomise the couple’s child or children.

If you want your Sim to go through a pregnancy, you’ll have to use the trust MC Command Centre mod. You can also use pregnancy cheats, but trust us on this one – using MCCC is far easier. All you have to do is click on the Sim you want to be pregnant and then choose Guidry (given a little bit of a makeover in our game in the screenshot below) as your Sim’s partner.

If you do not know what MC Command Centre is, you can read all about it on the official website. You can also delete the mod as soon as your Sim is pregnant with Guidry the Ghost’s baby.

Sims 4 Pregnant Guidry The Ghost

There won’t be anything different about the pregnancy for your Sim. The child also won’t have any special traits like when Sims have a baby with Father Winter, for example.

Next up for us: Getting Guidry and Bonehilda to fall in love and start a family. Yep. We know, we do the serious investigative work over here.
