South Africa’s top division continues to play catch-up after its return from the pandemic-enforced break.

The action begins on Monday night with Cape Town City FC looking to frustrate defending champions, Mamelodi Sundowns, even further. Downs have taken just two points form a possible six since their return to PSL top division action.

The match at Loftus Versveld will kick off at 18:00 South African time.

The Brazillians are now six points adrift (with a game in hand) of log leaders Kaiazer Chiefs.

On Tuesday, there are two early fixtures. Wits take on Golden Arrows while Chippa United and Highlands Park slog it out in the 15:30 kick off.

Orlando Pirates and Baroka FC will square off at 18:00, the only other match of the day.

SuperSport United and Polokwane City will begin proceedings on Wednesday at 15:30 while the log-leaders will be back in action the late kick off when they face Bloemfontein Celtic.

A Cape Town derby between Stellenbosch FC and Cape Town City FC, hosted on the Highveld, is the only match on Thursday. The action kicks off at 18:00.

On Friday, Golden Arrows and Black Leopards play at 13:30 while Wits and AmaZulu kick off at 15:30.

Maritzburg United and Mamelodi Sundowns complete the week’s fixtures at 18:00, before it’s time for the weekend’s action.
