If you are a fan of using mods in The Sims 4, you have probably heard of Brookheights. Created by The Sims Plus, aka Arnie Sims, the mod adds a new, custom and open world to The Sims 4 allows you to do all sorts of amazing things.
But Arnie Sims is also working on something else. While our wishes and dreams for a Town Life expansion might not have been answered (yet) with the upcoming Sims 4 Snowy Escape expansion, a modder has come to the rescue (again).
Create a world in The Sims 4: Mod to make it possible
We already know that there are loads of awesome debug objects that kind of make it possible already to build something that looks like a town ? even if the buildings are just shells and won?t actually be usable.
We also know that the T.O.O.L mod can take The Sims 4 to the next level. You can change apartment doors, windows and even edit balconies with it.
But the game is about to get another boost thanks to the creator of the Brookheights mod. Arnie shared some updates about what players can expect on Twitter recently, writing:
My World Edit feature will bring hundreds of new debug items that were never unlocked in the game before & it won’t flag your builds as modded on the gallery + you can place them anywhere in the worlds! Might release this mod as a standalone
Thanks to the mod, it will be possible to change roads, add waterfalls and animated ponds and do so much more
He did explain that it won’t be quite like the way it worked in The Sims 3, but he is hopeful that the mod will be very close to giving players what they want.
Looks like the next few months will be prime time for The Sims 4 content – both official DLC by the game’s developers and some extra special amazing bits from modders. Be sure to follow Arnie aka TheSimsPlus on Twitter if you want to stay up to date with the progress of the world edit mod.
