The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle: Meat curing a possible new gameplay feature?

If there’s one thing the Sims community is better at than speculating, it’s finding easter eggs all over the place. One Simmer, @Raadosky, has stumbled across what could be an interesting new gameplay feature in The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle expansion.

The latest expansion, which is set to launch on 5 June 2020 on all platforms, is all about a sustainable way of living, but not much is known beyond the recently released trailer.

Sim Gurus have confirmed that the pollution and smog that comes with The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle expansion will affect all worlds (barring three). We also know a bit about some of the features (ladders coming to the base game in a pre-release patch, candle making being a thing and a few other bits).

Now we know one more thing. Well, we say know. We have a seen a GIF of something… and it looks super interesting.

We’ve already been duped once this week with a fake leak claiming the pack was going to be called Country Livin’, but this GIF was posted on The Sims 4’s official Giphy account.

Here’s the GIF. You can decide for yourself what this Sim is getting up to, we’re not going to speculate.

What we would like to know, though, if this is some sort of meat curing, where are the animals going to come from?

Some of the hashtags included by The Sims on the Gif they posted are #meat and #labmeat. How interesting!
