EA Play, the membership programme that has morphed from Origin Access and EA Access into one catch-all play term, will roll out on steam at the end of August 2020.
While the exact details of how the Steam version will work is not clear – the official page just announces the date – the assumption is that the membership fee and the library offers will be the same across the two platforms.
The exact details of those benefit will still be refined, but it will start with a 10% discount on key EA titles.
Steam users won’t have acess to the EA Play Pro membership, formerly known as Origin Access Premier, though.
EA began returning its titles to Steam last year. In June, it officially announced that the popular simulation franchise, The Sims, would join the club.
